Is a Bitcoin payment method proof that specific VPN provider isn't some sort of honey pot created by some agencies? What about PIA or or any other. I start to think that only IVPN is really worth to trust as they are a member of EFF (a member not a proud sponsor as some providers like to advertise themselves - there's a huge difference between membership and sponsorhip). Sad that they are probably the most expensive to use, and their bandtwith is a crap (tested myself). I start to hesitate is it really safe to use it (VPN service at ll). expand their nodes a lot, I start to think who's financing them. I've read the torrentfreaks list of "wort to trust" providers but really who they are can't be trusted. What about proXPN who's sponsor of SecurityNow - I don't think they would take a sponsor who's on the other side of the barricade. What do you think in this matter?

Several years ago ProXPN had a special offer for a 2-year plan that cost $50 payable in Bitcoin. I jumped on that and the service has been acceptable. When my 2 years ran out, the account continued to work! I'm on year 4 or 5 now, and my only complaint is that their updated client made the machine unavailable through SMB. So I run an older client.
